The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Wednesday, August 30 feature Paul paying a visit to Hattie and not liking what she had to say about John — and him!
On the Case
Paul (Christopher Sean) wanted to get information about his dad’s whereabouts and even though they’re no longer together, he figured Marlena was his best bet. He sat down with “Marlena” and had a strange conversation with her – she even called him a spoiled brat.
He couldn’t understand why she was talking to him that way, and he couldn’t believe the cavalier way she discussed his father. He asks her to give John another chance. Despite what he said, Hattie doubled down on her rhetoric, letting him know that three strikes and John’s out.
The Great Escape
Super spy John (Drake Hogestyn) channeled his inner Houdini to get himself out of the straightjacket.
Marlena (Deidre Hall) struggled, but John’s powers extended to channeling Vince Lombardi, and his coaching was enough to help her snap out of her constraints. They managed to even touch through the grates.

Baby Issues
Nicole (Arianne Zucker) prepared for her meeting with the court as Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) and Eric (Greg Vaughan) stopped by for moral support and to be character witnesses. But Justin arrived and told Nicole and Brady (Eric Martsolf) he received a message from the judge — he knows what you did.
Under the Gun
Rafe (Galen Gering) and Hope (Kristian Alfonso) met with Myron. He confirmed that Raines is the silent partner and that he’s scared to cross him. They told him to do everything Raines said to do and they would help him. Myron tried to run but Hope went after him and they made a deal.
Meanwhile, Chloe stopped in at Club TBD and told Rafe how sorry she was about Dario. Rafe got a phone call that a body that’s been found (Chloe called the tip in to 911 earlier). When Rafe finished the call, he turned to find Chloe long gone.
