The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for March 6 features Eli trying to come clean to Gabi, but he was unable to tell her the whole truth.
The Secret Is Out
Gabi (Camila Banus) was shocked when Eli (Lamon Archey) told her he slept with Lani. She was furious that he’s been lying to her ever since. He said they didn’t want to mess things up, but when she asked if the baby is his and he lied that it’s not.
Eli then asked for another chance. She said she would consider working things out if he swore there were no more secrets. He lied that there aren’t and she left as he called Lani and left a message for her that he told Gabi everything except that he’s her child’s father.
Lani (Sal Stowers) was very affected by what happened at the wedding and began having pain. She claimed it was just a twinge, but when JJ (Casey Moss) asked why she was arguing with Valerie earlier, she doubled over.
As they waited for the ambulance, Kayla and Steve happened by, with Kayla jumping in to help.
At the hospital, JJ asked Steve about his sight and he admitted he might lose it. Kayla came out and said Lani was fine. Steve then worried to Kayla that he will end up being a burden on her.
Eric (Greg Vaughan) and Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) ran into Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) and had to break the news about the wedding. Jennifer then found found Hope (Kristian Alfonso) at her office.
Hope poured her heart out as Jennifer tried to comfort her. She also questioned whether it was really cheating since they were on a break. She asked Hope to consider everything before throwing it away. Hope felt Rafe already threw it away.
Hope then shocked Jennifer by admitting they married last night, which Jennifer felt was all the more reason Hope needs to think this through.
Rafe (Galen Gering) showed up at Ciara’s (Victoria Konefal) looking for Hope. He told her it wasn’t Claire’s fault and took responsibility. He broke the news to Ciara that they’re already married, which thrilled her. At her office, Hope removed her wedding ring and stuck it in a drawer.
The Marrying Man
Brady (Eric Martsolf) wanted to get Eve (Kassie DePaiva) drunk so she’d marry him. She asked him to cool it with the alcohol, so he pulled out all the stops to keep her in line. Eric arrived and offered to take Brady to a meeting, but Brady told him to get lost. Brady then suggested they grab the jet and go to Vegas.
