The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Thursday, May 24 has Hope trying to help Ciara, who is beating herself up because she’s let Chase back in her head.
Mother Knows Best
Tripp (Lucas Adams) tried to get Ciara (Victoria Konefal) to talk about what happened, but she pushed him away. Later, Ciara confided in Hope about how Chase got in her head because of Julie, Hope suggested she confide in Tripp.
Tripp confided a little in Will, he told him if he thinks something is wrong, he should ask Ciara again about it. Tripp tried calling Ciara, but she was in a bad state and ignored his call.
Jig Is Up
Justin (Wally Kurth) confirmed to Sonny (Freddie Smith) that Leo (Greg Rikaart) is suing him for sexual harassment. Adrienne (Judi Evans) had to point out that he was set up.
Will was furious to learn Leo was suing Sonny and told him off as Kate (Lauren Koslow) arrived. He asked her what scum would do that, as Kate just shrugged. He called Sonny, who wanted to head right over despite Justin’s warnings.
Sonny confronted Leo, who stuck to his story, upsetting Sonny. He eventually threatened Leo, saying he’s a Kiriakis. Back home, Sonny was furious with himself.

Earlier, Xander (Paul Telfer) overheard Justin and Adrienne and announced he obviously returned in the nick of time to help Titan.
Deep Betrayal?
Eric (Greg Vaughan) tried to get Hope (Kristian Alfonso) to do something about Xander but her hands were tied. Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) arrived and told them about the plea deal offered by Trask. Out with Eric, Jennifer was taunted by Xander.
Decision Time
Abigail (Marci Miller) and Chad (Billy Flynn) arrived at the station and updated everyone that Abby wouldn’t have to serve jail time. Abby, acting a bit ungrateful, wasn’t happy that Chad arranged it.
Later, they celebrated with Kate, and Abby remembered knocking her out. Chad told her the worst was over but both wondered if that was true.
