The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Wednesday, November 22 features the beginnings of trouble in paradise as Chad refused to visit JJ with Abby. Will this cause a major issue? Read on to find out.
Day of Thanks
Will (Chandler Massey) didn’t want to take part in any huge Thanksgiving function, which Marlena (Deidre Hall) understood and had to explain to Sami (Alison Sweeney). Of course, Sami had zero patience for this matter.
Gabi (Camila Banus) arrived and hugged all over Will — and he let her. She told him stories about his relationship with Ari, and he wanted to hear more. Ari walked in and Will was overwhelmed.
Chad (Billy Flynn) and Abby (Marci Miller) came by for a visit before Gabi and he wanted them to stay for breakfast. After, Abby wanted to visit JJ. Chad accused JJ of being a hothead, saying he didn’t want to go see him like Abby wanted. They agreed to disagree about it. They ran into Sami, who was jealous they ate with Will.
You’ve Got A Friend
Abe (James Reynolds) kept vigil at Theo’s (Kyler Pettis) side and was happy to see Samiand Roman (Josh Taylor). Sami felt guilty that her son came back from the dead while his son is suffering. Abe wanted her to enjoy Will, but she told him that he doesn’t want her around.

Needing Comfort
JJ (Casey Moss) had a nightmare that Theo wanted to kill him. When Gabi visited him (before she ended up at Will’s), he confided his deep guilt and desire to visit Theo. She told him about Will being alive and tried to get him to go with her to see him. He couldn’t and she hugged him before leaving.
Needing Comfort Part II
Lani (Sal Stowers) ignored JJ’s text messages and instead accepted comfort from Eli (Lamon Archey). He understood Abe’s feelings but wanted to know how Lani felt about JJ. She wanted to know if he was trying to get info out of her. He admitted he’s investigating and needs her answers.
Lani later tried to call JJ but it went to voicemail because JJ was at the hospital sneaking into Theo’s room. He expressed regret and apologized to him. But as he held his hand, Abe walked in and yelled for him to get his hands off his son now.
