The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Friday, September 29 features love pouring out all over – until the very end when Abby dropped a verbal anvil and in came trouble. But let’s start at the beginning…
Wedding Bell Blues
All of those getting married got a text that Father Louis couldn’t make it. Before panic erupted, Sonny (Freddie Smith) asked “Adrienne” to do the honors. Of course Bonnie (Judi Evans) backed off but luckily Justin (Wally Kurth) remembered he could also do it.
Justin’s words meant a great deal to everyone watching the ceremony. As he spoke we saw someone enter the church, who managed to interrupt at the right moment when Justin asked if anyone objected to the wedding.
False Alarm!
It was just Doug (Bill Hayes) and Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes), who were late because she had been showing him the club she bought for him (well, with Chloe). Turns out they handled a crisis with the caterer – so all’s well. Next came moving speeches by family members.

Those Tributes
Brady (Eric Martsolf) spoke of love, Andre (Thaao Penghlis) of the great love story of Chad (Billy Flynn) and Abigail (Marci Miller), and Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) spoke about second chances at love. Two candles were then lit to become one by both couples.
Loving Vows But…
Paul went first, followed by Sonny. Chad was worried following Sonny, as everyone had tears in their eyes, so Abigail went first. She spoke about how you never know what’s going to happen in the next 10 minutes, 10 seconds and then of course – the doors to the church flew open and gasps were heard!
