The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for January 19 features Andre making more enemies – and he ends up dead for it.
Brother vs. Brother
Chad’s (Billy Flynn) suspicion of Andre grew, but once again Abigail (Marci Miller) came to her brother-in-law’s defense. She thought Stefan was guilty since he wants everything Chad has – which begged the question from Chad, what does that mean? Abigail hedged.
Going Too Far
Stefan (Tyler Christopher) was appalled when Vivian (Louise Sorel) suggested murder to keep Andre (Thaao Penghlis) from rolling over on them. He tried to reason with her and refused to do it, but she said she would instead. He told her not to kill his brother. She hedged.
Her words about having everything he wanted if Andre died replayed in Stefan’s head, and it led him to make a call to a mystery person about having a job for them.
Power Hungry
Andre fired Gabi on the grounds she committed fraud, having gotten her seed money from her father’s dirty dealings. He refused to let her take Gabi Chic with her. Gabi threatened court and he threatened to put her through the wringer.
She went to call Kate and Andre threatened her, grabbing her hand. She threatened him right back and walked out. Later, Gabi ran into Abby, who couldn’t believe what she said, but Gabi told Abby she could kill Andre.
On The Other Side Of Town
Fresh out of rehab, Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) reconciled with Kate (Lauren Koslow). Later, he turned up at Doug’s place and asked Chloe out – and she said yes!

Kate went back to Andre and before he could tell her he fired Gabi, she told him she loved him too. He was thrilled but then told her.
Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) spoke with Brady (Eric Martsolf) about what’s going on with Eve. She wondered who was using whom but also wondered if it was becoming real. If so, she advised him to prove himself to Eve.
Eve (Kassie De Paiva) spent time with Tate while Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) questioned the story she was telling him. Brady returned and they lamented not having Gabi Chic, but Brady intimated a nefarious thought.
The next day, Chloe had to cancel because she got a singing role for two months. Gabi got a breaking news text about a shake-up at Gabi Chic – and she looked disheveled.
Brady woke up in bed with Eve and got the same text. Kate and Chad talked of a rough night, Vivian told Stefan they need to get their stories straight, and Abby found Andre – dead on the floor!
