On Days Of Our Lives (DOOL), Will came back from the dead — thinking he was EJ.
A grieving Susan brainwashed him as part of her revenge plot against Sami (Alison Sweeney). Now, Will (Chandler Massey) accepts that he’s Will — though he doesn’t remember either his family or his husband, Sonny (Freddie Smith).
Fans are happy that Sami has her son back, but would they like her husband, the real EJ (James Scott), to also make a return appearance? Kristen certainly made it sound like he could be alive — but should he be? Over 7,000 shared their opinions with us.
Of course, cheer a majority 56%. Sami and EJ were magic together. He’s the love of her life, she’s the love of his, and they have kids together. Sami needs, EJ — Allie and Sydney need EJ, Susan (Eileen Davidson) needs him, and you need him most of all.
No, no, no, 16% push back. Sometimes, people just need to stay dead. If death is only a temporary condition in Salem — like the common cold — then how are you supposed to take it seriously or grieve alongside the characters? Besides, you’re tired of Sami always getting her way. She needs to suffer. She’s certainly caused enough of it in other people.
A very close 15% are more open to EJ returning, but only if Sami does, too. What’s the point of EJ coming back to Salem if Sami and the kids are in Europe? It wouldn’t make any sense. Unless EJ has amnesia, too. And thinks he’s… uhm, Deimos (Vincent Irizarry)?
Well Begun Is Half Done
Just because Sweeney has made it clear she’s only interested in brief return appearances is no reason for 11% of you to live without EJ on your screens. He can return and Sami can stay in Europe. Plenty more fish in the sea. Hi, there, Abigail (Marci Miller)….
