At first it seemed strange that Days of Our Lives brought Abigail back to Salem before things had passed the point of no return between Chad and Gabi.
After all, what’s a soap triangle if there’s no real pull between the other couple? Well, it looks like being locked in a freezer together with seemingly no hope of freedom could provide just the e-ticket to making this triangle go from fizzle to sizzle!
Or, were we at Soap Hub the only ones getting the “I can’t resist you” vibe between Gabi (Camila Banus) and Chad today?
It’s a story as old as soaps themselves. Two people stuck in a small space, thinking they’re going to die, and the poof – suddenly their clothes start coming off!
Chad (Billy Flynn) has already admitted that he needs to hate Gabi, fearing if he lets any other feelings bubble to the surface, then he won’t be able to control himself. Gabi has already admitted that her feelings of love for him have been hard to get over.
So, if they think they could possibly die, it’s not out of the realm of possibility that they may give in to those feelings that they were about to consummate before Abigail (Marci Miller) returned from the dead.

Remember, they both said “I love you” to each other, before deciding to take things a little more slowly. They came close to making love that very night Abby reappeared! Feelings don’t just disappear when they’re that strong.
So what happens next if they do give in? Chances are they would both agree not to say a word to anyone else. After all, neither would want to hurt Abby. They would just carry the dirty little secret between them as they both move on with their own lives… or at least until something happens that might force them to talk about.
Could a Chabi baby be a story down the line? If Gabi is with someone new, could Chad be forced to watch another man, like JJ (Casey Moss), claim and raise his child? Remember, this is all just speculation, but it could lead to some compelling drama.
