Things are about to get a whole lot more rotten in Salem now that two of the show’s most recent sociopathic villains will be making return fall appearances on Days of Our Lives (DOOL).
We knew we’d see Batty Ben again when we watched Will’s ‘death’ scene re-shot with Chandler Massey in the victim role, but from the sounds of things, it looks like Ben is back to stay.
According to the October 2 issue of Soap Opera Digest, Robert Scott Wilson says this about his comeback:
“Honored and excited to bring Ben back to his old stomping grounds. I couldn’t have asked for a better entrance back to Salem–when no one sees it coming. Bad times don’t last, but bad times do.”

This can’t be good for Chad (Billy Flynn) and Abby (Marci Miller). We do know that the pair walk down the aisle once again next week, along with Sonny (Freddie Smith) and Paul (Christopher Sean), but a surprise guest puts a damper on their activities. Could that guest be Ben? Or someone else?
Another bad boy that’s been causing chaos in Salem off and on for the last few years is Xander, and you knew he had to be down but not out. That’s right, according to Digest, Paul Telfer also makes a return soon when he calls Uncle Vic about a little problem.
With Xander and Ben BOTH on the scene, is anyone in Salem safe?
