Do you think you can handle this much adorableness in Salem? Get ready to see the newest member of Days of Our Lives (DOOL).
Of course, you’ll have to wait about six months before you get to see him. His name is Asher Morrissette and according to the Jason47 DAYS Website, he was recently cast on the show — but there are a couple of young boys, including Tate Brady, Thomas DiMera, or maybe even a new character — that he could be playing.
The clue could be in the fact that a tweet about his joining the cast was retweeted by Marci Miller, who plays Abigail. Could this mean that Thomas will finally be allowed out of the nursery where he’s been hidden away for months?
Even though young Morrissette is only four, this isn’t his first role in Hollywood. He is currently shooting another part on the show The Baxters, in which he is playing Roma Downey’s (ex-Lady Johanna Leighton, One Life to Live) grandson.
The young actor is repped by Youth Talent Connection, who, according to the Jason47 DAYS Website, were the ones to share the news. On April 3, Morissette’s Facebook page announced that he had big news and would be able to talk about it in 170 days.
While this may have seemed strange to most of his Facebook followers, DAYS fans of course understand what that means. Since the show shoots that far in advance, he will probably start airing sometime in the fall.
If Morissette is playing Thomas, there’s a good chance the youngster will be kept very busy. His onscreen parents, Miller and Billy Flynn (Chad), are almost always on the front burner storyline-wise and fans will surely welcome a story that focuses on the two as parents.
Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
