It looks like Hope won’t have to fight off Aiden for much longer on Days of Our Lives.
According to the October 31 issue of Soap Opera Digest, Daniel Cosgrove’s run as Aiden Jennings on the show is coming to an end. Cosgrove originated the role of Aiden in 2014 and was fired in 2015. He was then brought back in 2016. The character will be moving to Oregon to join his son Chase (Jonathon McClendon). In fact, Aiden actually leaves town with his tail between his legs and his sense of morals somehow in tact.
This will be a welcome relief to the many fans who adore Hope (Kristian Alfonso) with Rafe (Galen Gering). The two have been tortured by Aiden recently.

The DA has been blackmailing Hope with the fact he knows she killed Stefano. He insists she give their love another chance in exchange for her (and Rafe/Roman’s too) freedom. Perhaps this news means that Aiden will buy a clue that blackmail isn’t a good foundation for building a relationship.
