They’re no angels! Days Of Our Lives (DOOL) Claire and Tripp have both done some less than savory things — though Tripp is definitely in the lead, sin-wise, no matter how naughty Claire acts.

If there is one thing soaps have taught us, lecture 65% of you, it’s that opposites attract. And Claire (Oliva Rose Keegan) and Tripp (Lucas Adams) are just too much alike to make a compelling couple.
You want to see the good girl reform the bad boy, or vice-versa, through the power of love. Not two schemers enabling each other and egging each other on. You don’t want a love story where the couple brings out the worst in each other. You want one where they bring out the best.
Besides, Tripp’s stepmother, Kayla (Mary Beth Evans), is Claire’s father’s aunt. That’s icky. And even if the two aren’t biologically related, they still look creepily alike. Just say no, DAYS!

They’re not actually related, remind the dissenting 34%, and bringing out the worst in each other is a good thing. Theo (Kyler Pettis) is so disgustingly sweet, he puts this third of the audience to sleep. Bring back goody two-shoes Ciara, and they can moon over each other without bothering anyone else — preferably off-screen.
Tripp and Claire don’t wait for things to happen, they make them happen. Both good and bad. And, if they get together, then break up, can you imagine how fun the respective revenge is going to be?
We’re talking about years of story and conflict and angst and heartache. A Claire and Tripp pairing is exactly what soaps should be about! Especially when they do their worst to the world, and save their best for each other….
