This is a soap, 66% of you sigh, so, of course, Nicole’s (Arianne Zucker) secret about sleeping with Xander (Paul Telfer), is bound to come out, sooner or later. But you think the only way that Eric (Greg Vaughan) will hear about it from Nicole, will be if she has absolutely no other choice in the matter.
You expect Nicole to do everything she can think of to lie, obfuscate, deny, and smother before she makes a confession. Whether or not her husband believes that sort of thing is good for the soul.

No Choice
A much smaller 19% of the audience suspects Nicole will have no choice in the matter. If she doesn’t, then Xander will. And if Xander doesn’t, then someone else will. Sami (Alison Sweeney) has always hated her sister-in-law. And Rafe (Galen Gering) has had his suspicions.
Not to mention Ava (Tamara Braun) can’t be trusted to do… anything. The point is, Nicole will be so nervous that someone else will beat her to it, that she’ll likely blurt out the truth herself. At the worst possible moment, no doubt.
Forget It
Then again, 15% are wondering if you’re new here. No way, no how, will Nicole ever spill the beans. She will do anything she has to, and she will lie through her teeth if confronted, to keep her secret.
And, knowing Eric, he’s bought everything else Nicole has sold him over the years. He’ll believe this, too. Which is why he’ll be hurt even more when the truth inevitably comes out, and Nicole is exposed as a cheater. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
