Let’s kick this off with the couples that have fans excited. There are always going to be the vets like Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans), who are enjoyable to watch. Kate (Lauren Koslow) and Roman (Josh Taylor) are in that mix, too, especially as their marriage was tested over her lie. The only issue is that we don’t see enough of any of them together.
Another couple that had us excited was Shawn (Brandon Beemer) and Jada (Elia Cantu). They finally reunited but have barely been seen since. Unfortunately, that likely has to do with Cantu exiting the show.
Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) and Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) are literally the best couple on DAYS right now. They proved that, even when they were apart, they are the real deal. Gabi and Philip’s chemistry is off the charts, as is their witty, fun banter. Give us more of them!
They are exiting the show soon, but Johnny (Carson Boatman) and Chanel (Raven Bowens) will always be a hit for us. Johnny doing shady things for EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) has only made them more interesting.

First and foremost are Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Sarah (Linsey Godfrey). The reality is that Brady is just a filler guy because Sarah and Xander (Paul Telfer) are endgame. Sarah doesn’t have the spark with Brady that she has with Xander. It’s time to reunite Xarah. They have been apart long enough.
Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) and Stephanie (Abigail Klein) need to be put on a break, possibly forever. They have been so miserable that the couple has become hard to watch. Stephanie and Alex don’t seem to have the best chemistry either. One fan on Reddit insisted they each have better chemistry with other people, like Chanel and Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews).
One of Salem’s newest couples, Belle (Martha Madison) and Chad (Conner Floyd), are sadly a big miss. There was excitement surrounding them at first, but they fell flat in the sparks department.

There are also Abe (James Reynolds) and Paulina (Jackée Harry), whom we would like to see back together. However, considering everything that happened with Lexie (Nikki Crawford), Paulina likely won’t be running back into Abe’s arms anytime soon.
EJ and Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) have us rooting for them. Granted, the relationship was built on a lie, but there’s something about them together that’s enticing. Plus, EJ needs a woman who isn’t a member of the Brady family.
On Reddit, fans had a couple of suggestions for new couples, and honestly, they are excellent ideas. Brady and Gwen (Emily O’Brien) got a lot of fans buzzing.
