On Days Of Our Lives, Claire has only one solution whenever she feels the sads…a nice, cleansing fire. She was jealous of Ciara so when she found her tied to a bed with a broken leg…she tried to set her on fire.
She was jealous of Haley (Thia Megia) when Tripp (Lucas Adams) married Haley to keep her in the country. So Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan)…tried to set them on fire. Both times, Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) was in the vicinity. This didn’t go all that well for him.
But it looks like Claire will finally be found out. She will obviously need to be punished…but can she eventually be redeemed? What over 4,000 fans had to say about it:

This isn’t your average Salem scheming, 75% of you can’t believe the question is even being raised. This isn’t Eve (Kassie DePaiva) pandering to win an election, or Sami (Alison Sweeney) lying about her baby’s paternity in order to snag her sister’s man. This is pyromania. This is arson. This is attempted murder!

Claire doesn’t need a stern talking to from Grandma Marlena, or even a split-personality exorcism ala Abigail (Kate Mansi). She needs prison time. And therapy. Lots and lots of therapy.
Good To the Last Drop
Eve has been forgiven. So has Sami. And Abigail and Gabi (Camilla Banus) and Nicole (Arianne Zucker). And that’s just the women. No one is Salem has the right to cast the first stone – – that means you, Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) — so why can’t Claire get a second chance, 25% of the audience wonders.
She clearly has severe issues, as severe as the ones that drop Abigail to try to kill Kate (Lauren Koslow), Marlena, and Vivian (Louise Sorel). Plus, she’s a core character. They need her around!
