After Abigail made the decision to have the baby she believes is Stefan’s on Days of Our Lives (DOOL), it meant she had to break the news to her husband… and it was brutal.
Chad (Billy Flynn) started off elated… but then Abby (Marci Miller) delivered the crushing blow: Her baby wasn’t his. A devastated Abby got on her knees, telling Chad she would do anything to change it.
She revealed that she even considered ending the pregnancy. He looked annoyed that she hadn’t and asked her why. When she responded that Stefan (Tyler Christopher) stopped her, Chad was blindsided.
Chad got furious that she let him talk her into it because of the alter egos. He then threw it all in her face when he asked her if she was in love with Stefan.
She tried to tell him that not everything about Gabby stayed with her after the integration. Chad coldly pointed to her growing baby and said, “Except that.”
Abby pleaded with him to realize she wants him to be the baby’s father and make their decisions together.

A hurt Chad kept lashing out, saying she decided to keep the baby without talking it over with him. He let her know how hard it’s been to put the image of her in bed with Stefan out of his mind and now she’s asking him to have a daily reminder of what happened.
His anger took her by surprise. It’s not unexpected that he would behave this way but it’s sad that it took him so long to see it from her point of view and realize the pain it’s causing her. But to then walk out on her after?! CHAD!
The hope, of course, Is that Chad will come around and of course the truth will eventually come out — but will too much have happened for Abby to forgive him for leaving her at the worst possible moment?
