Despite killing several characters and terrorizing a beloved heroine, it looks like Robert Scott Wilson’s Ben is returning to Salem for the foreseeable future!
According to published reports, the Massachusetts native, who was last seen in Salem at the end of 2017, has signed on the dotted line… though the length of the contract is unknown.
While the move may seem like a hard one to pull off considering all the crimes that Ben committed, there’s no denying that the actor is mesmerizing to watch. It was a smart move for DAYS to get him back and on contract to stir things up in Salem.
While the storyline remains under wraps, the one thing we can count on, thanks to the talent of Wilson and his incredible chemistry with co-stars like Marci Miller (Abigail), Billy Flynn (Chad), and Chandler Massey (Will), is that it will be must-see viewing.
One of Ben’s most heinous crimes has already been undone — through the resurrection of Will. But the character still remains behind bars.
Could this mean that someone else on the show may end up behind bars too and encounter Ben?

Could that person be Chad, who just tried to murder his half-brother, Stefan (Tyler Christopher)? Or could it be Stefan himself — for his part in covering up who really murdered Andre (Thaao Penghlis)?
Of course, there is the possibility that he’s in a sanitarium now instead of a prison — so could he end up near Abigail, who might have to serve time there once the truth comes out about how she killed Andre?
The possibilities are endless and also have the potential to be riveting. No matter what, it’s a safe bet that Salem is never going to be the same!
