There have been lots of returns lately on Days Of Our Lives (DOOL). Some were back in the country (hi, Susan), some are back for what they feel they’re owed (hi, Eve), some are back and as crazy as ever (how you doing, Ben?), and some are back from the dead (look, everybody, it’s Will!).
But is there room in Salem for more familiar faces? Considering Claire’s (Oliva Rose Keegan) recent behavior – and, OK, fine, the trauma of Theo’s (Kyler Pettis) injury – is it time for her parents, Belle (Martha Madison) and Shawn-Douglas (Brandon Beemer), to stick around for a while – and maybe lay down the law while they’re at it?

Wasn’t it just yesterday that Shawn and Belle were the teens getting into wacky hijinks, swapping romantic partners and getting stranded on a desert island where they still somehow managed to get an internet connection?

No Room At the Inn
OMG, fume a fed up 26%, how many people do you think the Salem canvas can hold? With all these returns, you’re not getting enough face-time with the faves already there, The last thing you need is more people hogging up the airwaves.
Shawn and Belle can stay for a little while, but then need to get back to Hong Kong and maybe come back for Easter. Maybe they can even take their daughter with them and be one, big happy family.
