Days of Our Lives (DOOL) seems to be cleaning house in an epic way. We just learned Jordi Vilasuso’s time on the soap comes to an end this summer and now comes the news that James Lastovic will last air in August, as well.
According to the Jason47 DAYS website, Lastovic likely finished taping in March, but the information was kept secret.
The character of Joey has had quite a time as a Salem teen, falling for a woman in love with his father and then killing her during a moment of insanity.

He also became involved with the loopy Jade, got her pregnant, and mourned when they lost the baby. Jade recently left town, but there’s no word yet on how Lastovic’s Joey will leave or if he’ll be recast.
Of the teen scene that debuted with Dena Higley’s writing two years ago, only Olivia Rose Keegan as Claire and Kyler Pettis as Theo remain.
