On Days Of Our Lives, Susan was recently surprised to see Andre — as she thought he was dead. No, I’m Tony, the character played by Thaao Penghlis corrected. Susan (Stacey Haiduck) thought Tony was dead, too.
And we’re not even counting Kristen pretending to be Nicole (Arianne Zucker), Will (Chandler Massey), Marlena (Deidre Hall), John (Drake Hogysten), Hope (Kristian Alfonso), Abe (James Reynolds), and all the other Salem walking dead gathered in just that room alone. Charm Kate again — or listen to her read you the riot act. Plus, your return will mean Abigail isn’t a murderer. Not that she ever had to pay for that crime but, you know, a clean record and all.

With Stefano gone and never coming back now that Joseph Mascolo has passed away, Salem needs a serious DiMera villain. Stefan is a lightweight and Kristen is completely nuts. We need Andre to straddle the fine line of evil sanity.

Make it stop, 42% of the audience begs. No more back from the dead — DiMera or otherwise. We don’t need him. Tony fills the smooth European with an accent slot. Stefan fills the not-so-evil schemer who can be brought down by a woman slot.
