Brooke Logan is getting a brief reprieve as Denise Richards, who plays her rival Shauna on The Bold and the Beautiful, is shooting a project overseas. But Richards just might be getting a new family member!

Currently, Richards is filming Glow and Darkness. She’s playing María de Champagne. The series stars Spanish actor Fernando Gil, Jane Seymour (Live and Let Die; Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman), Bruce Davison (X-Men), and many others. Set in the Middle Ages, Glow and Darkness tells the story of St. Francis of Assisi — ironically considered the Patron Saint of animals.
Ironic because as fans of Richards know, the actress is a pet advocate too and so, it’s no wonder a pup wandered up to her while she was on this particular set. “Wish I could bring him home🙏🏻 @aaronwilliamcameron,” Richards posted on Instagram to her husband, Aaron, “he’s been wandering on set since we got here….”
If it were up to Richards’ followers, this dog would be the latest member of the actress’s family. “There has to be a way Denise!!” posted luvcosmos_00. “Please. He crossed you for a reason. I pray that you are able to.” Poster @dianereeves336 added: “exactly they only gravitate to good humans.”

Richards’ followers are speculating that the dog is either a Cocker Spaniel or an English Setter. Will Richards be bringing this dog home? We’ll keep tabs on her social media account to check for updates and will let you know.
In the meantime, viewers can look forward to Glow and Darkness. “There are nine countries involved with actors from seven countries, with a lot of Spanish talent & the world,” director José Luis Moreno told FormulaTV.
“The main cast highlights the name of a single Spanish actor, Fernando Gil, who gave life to the current King Felipe VI in the biopic that tells the beginning of the love story between the kings of Spain, ‘Felipe & Letizia’ and whose last work on the small national screen was in Hounds.” The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS.
