Brooke has once again said yes to a marriage proposal from Ridge, the man she’s been in love with pretty much since the inception of The Bold and the Beautiful. But will the two actually tie the knot successfully?
Soap Hub asked B&B fans if they think Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) will make a go of it this time. Read on to see the results!
(No) Hope For The Future
Most of you don’t think that Ridge and Brooke will make it as husband and wife. In fact, almost 64% of you believe that something will stop them from even getting to the altar. Let’s face it, the pair has never had much luck.
Ridge’s first proposal to Brooke was quite romantic. He put her ring in a champagne glass and she discovered it right when she thought they were over. But that marriage never happened. And when they finally wed for “real” in 1994, it wasn’t legal because Ridge’s “late” wife Taylor was actually alive!
If At First You Don’t Succeed…
The rest of you, over 36%, feel that, yes, Ridge and Brooke will successfully make it to the altar and get married. They have successfully wed before when they were both legally free to do so. But time and fate have torn them apart. (Taylor returned from the dead not once, but twice, which made a Ridge/Brooke union problematic.)

And there was always Stephanie in the couple’s way. She rarely approved of anything Brooke did and she never thought she was the right woman for her firstborn, though, when Steph died, she and Brooke had made peace.
One Step At A Time
Brooke’s first move, of course, will be to become legally divorced from estranged husband Bill. A lot can happen between now and then. The Bill/Brooke door appears to be closed for now (Bill’s got his own problems, having recently slept with his daughter-in-law). The wildcard in all of this is Thorne.
He and Brooke have history together, and this new assertive Thorne we’ve seen is tired of taking a backseat to big brother Ridge. There’s no guarantee that Ridge and Brooke will wed again so stay tuned to see what develops next.
