The Bold and the Beautiful has maintained the same core families for its 34-year (and counting) run, but the show has infused its cast with many newcomers over the years. They’ve all added spark and intrigue to the show’s canvas.

The Bold and the Beautiful Polling

Which recent BB newcomer is your favorite? Soap Hub posed this question to the show’s fans. Check out the results to see how your favorite fared!

Finn Is Fine

Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan, played by newcomer Tanner Novlan, came in first with over 58% of your vote. No surprise here. The character is handsome, caring, understanding, and he loves Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). He’s got it all going on.

Even when Finn thought Liam (Scott Clifton) was the father of Steffy’s baby, the good doctor still wanted a future with the Forrester heiress. Finn’s a breath of fresh air in that he’s not related to any of the other families or characters on the show (well, that we know of!). Let’s hope Finn is here to stay!

We’ll Always Have Paris

The character of Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) came in second with 36% of your vote. Paris’s arrival has provided a foil for her impulsive sister Zoe (Kiara Barnes) and shined a light on the Forrester Foundation, a charitable endeavor that Paris is helming.

BB has had amazing singers on the show over the years — namely, Bobbie Eakes (ex-Macy) and Jeff Trachta (ex-Thorne). White is continuing this tradition as evidenced by her entertaining musical performances!

Not-So Suddenly Shauna

Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) came in next with about 6% of your vote. That low? We can only imagine that number is not higher for one very key reason — Shauna’s been around since 2019. So, her status as a “newcomer” is debatable. What’s not debatable is that Richards has been a shot in the arm for the half-hour soap.

She champions her daughter Flo (Katrina Bowden), who can be way too hard on herself; she also is proof that Quinn (Rena Sofer) is capable of having female pals. Viewers actually felt for Shauna after she lost Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) — that’s no easy feat. Richards doesn’t play Shauna as a villainess, which makes her performances all the more compelling and endearing.

We don’t know what’s next for Shauna — will she make a play for Eric (John McCook) or Bill (Don Diamont)? Stay tuned to find out! The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
