Stephanie Forrester may have given Brooke her blessing on her recent wedding to Ridge on The Bold and the Beautiful, but the women didn’t always get along. In fact, Steph was driven to attack Brooke on more than one occasion.
The most dramatic moment between the two women arguably occurred at the Forrester’s cabin in Big Bear. Stephanie (Susan Flannery) had learned that Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) — who had been married to both her ex-husband Eric (John McCook) and her son Ridge (then Ronn Moss) — was involved with her other son, Thorne (then Winsor Harmon).
That was the breaking point. Stephanie broke into the cabin and read Brooke the riot act unlike she had never done so before. Brooke was truly afraid of what Steph was going to do her. She tried to tell Stephanie that Thorne really wanted her, but Stephanie was hearing none of that!
“He wants you like a two dollar hooker!” Stephanie snapped at Brooke. “You appeal to his basest instincts, don’t you?”

Stephanie vowed that Brooke was never again going to hurt the men in her life. Her out of control terror truly shook Brooke to her core.
Steph may have truly lost it, but the scenes in this video flashback were a winner! They helped Flannery win the Daytime Emmy in 2000 for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series.
