The Bold And The Beautiful Star Katherine Kelly Lang Has A “Twin”!

In the early days of The Bold and the Beautiful there were two women who fought to be Mrs. Ridge Forrester. They were Brooke Logan and Caroline Spencer. The rivalry is long over, but the friendship between the actresses remains.

Joanna Johnson, who today plays Karen, the mother of Caroline Spencer (Linsey Godfrey), first played Karen’s sister Caroline on B&B. She and Ridge (then Ronn Moss) became engaged in the show’s first episode.

They eventually made it to the altar, but after Caroline died a path was cleared for Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) to eventually become Ridge’s wife.

Now, Johnson is an executive producer and director on the Freeform series The Fosters and  tweeted that she misses her “twin” from B&B after a fan posted a quick video of the two women sharing a scene on B&B.

The “twin” remark is a bit of an in-joke. When B&B first debuted, at least one critic noted that Johnson, Lang, and Teri Ann Lin (ex-Kriten), all of whom are blonde, were indistinguishable from one another!

Lang, in return, responded on Twitter that she, too, misses her “twin.”

While Caroline’s gone to that great soap in the sky, there’s always the chance these two can reunite if and when Karen comes to Los Angeles to visit her family there.
