Denise Richards is making the publicity rounds promoting her new movie Timecrafters: The Treasure Of Pirate’s Cove. The Bold and the Beautiful actress’s most recent stop was on Live with Kelly and Ryan, the top-rated daily syndicated talk show.

In addition to talking about Timecrafters and being on BB, Richards also gave an update on her daughters Sam, Lola, and Eloise. “I can’t believe the ages of your daughters,” host Ryan Seacrest said. Kelly Ripa added, “They’re grownups.”
Richards said it was difficult for her, too, to accept the ages of her daughters, noting that one of the Sam, 17, is driving. “Lola [15] just got her [learners] permit,” the actress shared, noting that the thought of her girls out there on the road is terrifying “especially in Los Angeles with the freeways, the canyons, PCH [Pacific Coast Highway]. It scares me!”
The actress had an initial plan to limit her daughter’s driving to just their neighborhood. “That didn’t last long,” she notes with a chuckle. Ripa had a suggestion to ease Richards’s concerns. “What you should do is just move to New York,” Ripa, a mother of three, advised. “Not only will they not want a license [but] they’ll beg you actively to not get one!”

That could actually be happening, says Richards, noting, “They both want to move to New York so, who knows?” Do her daughters have show business aspirations? Richards revealed that Sam just signed with a modeling agent but that she actually enjoys working behind the camera, too — literally. “She’s a great photographer,” the proud mom says.
“I see Lola more getting into acting than Sammy, but you never know,” Richards says. No matter what Sam, Lola, or their sister Eloise, 9, whom Richards says is a “light,” end up getting into is okay with their mom — even if they work in show business.
“Whatever they want to do [is fine],” Richards says. “I’m not one of these actresses that doesn’t want her kids to [act]. I want to support them just like my parents did,” she laughed, “even if they didn’t agree with it!” Check out the clip of Richards on Live with Kelly and Ryan below.
