Children may be too young to recall their first birthday celebrations, but that’s not going to stop parents from having a party for them anyway! The Bold and the Beautiful star Darin Brooks and his wife, Kelly Kruger (ex-Mac, The Young and the Restless), recently celebrated daughter Everleigh turning 1-year-old.

“This is one!!” Kruger posted on her account. “🎂 Happy 1st birthday to my entire heart!! Words cannot describe how much we love you and how much you bring to our lives every single day. You are the best thing to ever happen to us!! My little Moana princess.
“This past year I’ve learned more about myself than ever before,” Kruger continued. “Being a mother is the greatest gift and by far the best role I’ve ever had 💕💕 oh and I made this cake. Not the prettiest but she’ll get her Moana cake this weekend #happybirthday #firstbirthday #babygirl.”

Kruger made the soap scene when she assumed the role of McKenzie Browning, the long-lost granddaughter of Katherine Chancellor (the late Jeanne Cooper). During Kruger’s run in Genoa City, she wed Billy (then, Ryan Brown; now, Jason Thompson). The couple chose to dissolve the union as they mistakenly learned that they were related by blood as it was believed, at the time, that Billy’s mother Jill (Jess Walton) was Kay’s daughter. Later, that turned out not to be the case.
Brooks debuted as Max Brady, the adopted son of the late Caroline (Peggy McCay) and Shawn (Frank Parker), in 2005. For his portrayal of Max, Brooks won the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series in 2009. He then joined the cast of BB as Wyatt in 2013. Shortly after his arrival, it was established that Wyatt was the long-lost son of Bill Spencer (Don Diamont). This set the stage for many stories of two brothers — Wyatt and Liam (Scott Clifton) — to do battle. Kruger recurs on BB as Eva, Forrester International’s ace publicist.
