Liam Spencer has one of the fullest dance cards in soap history. In addition to Hope, Steffy, and Sally, he’s also romanced Ivy Forrester, played by Ashleigh Brewer. She’s no longer on the canvas, but fans haven’t forgotten her. And, now, the Australian soap star is sharing with her followers something deeply personal.
Ashleigh Brewer Opens Up

Her BB Past
Brewer, as BB fans recall, joined the half-hour soap in 2013 and played the part of Ivy for five years before opting to vacate her role in order to take on new opportunities. Ivy is the daughter of Eric’s (John McCook) brother John (Fred Willard).
Her Australian mother is not Maggie (Barbara Crampton), John’s former wife and mom to Ivy’s half-sister Jessica (Maitland Ward). After leaving BB, Brewer joined the Aussie soap Home and Away as law officer Chelsea Campbell, shooting 47 episodes of that overseas sudser.
Next up for the actress is the film At the Edge of Night. The name of this film may sound familiar to soap fans as Edge of Night was a popular ABC soap that ran from 1956 to 1984. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
