There aren’t any The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers while the show’s production is shut down but when it returns with new episodes, a lot of questions that fans have had for months will start getting answered. Chief among them is what exactly happened with Ridge and Shauna during their trip to Las Vegas?

Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) woke up not having a 100% recall of what occurred when he visited Sin City to check on his pal Shauna (Denise Richards). This setup has all the ingredients of a surprise elopement: memory loss, spending time in a city with lots of wedding chapels, and the potential groom being on the outs with his true love (Brooke, played by Katherine Kelly Lang).
Surprise proposals and weddings have long been a staple on BB, especially where Ridge and Brooke are concerned. Remember when Ridge was all set to propose to Brooke, but then he caught her in an embrace with his buddy Grant (Charles Grant)? Ridge not only changed his mind about proposing to Brooke at the end of a fashion show but, upon realizing that he truly loved Taylor (Hunter Tylo), Ridge popped the question to her instead — breaking Brooke’s heart in the process.

Blasts From The Past
Not to be outdone, at the next Forrester fashion presentation, Brooke turned the tables on Ridge and proposed to Grant, hoping to point out to him that she was the one he truly loved. If Ridge and Shauna are married, it’ll send shockwaves through the Forrester family. Quinn (Rena Sofer) will be thrilled that her pal has found happiness and the fact that her enemy is suffering is mere icing on the cake.
Brooke will have to pin her hopes on two potential outcomes if Ridge and Shauna have tied the knot. The first would be he gets a quickie annulment after he gently informs Shauna (who’s a terrific lady!) that he wasn’t in his right mind and that he doesn’t truly love her as a husband should love his wife. The second is that the marriage isn’t legal. Perhaps the license wasn’t signed? Perhaps the officiator wasn’t legitimate? Soaps are all about storyline twists!
