Upcoming The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for Wednesday, October 5 promise a day of drama when Ridge takes his power way too far. He’s a man on the edge who needs to take a step back and do the right thing.
Is This for Love or Power?
Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) may claim he loves Eric (John McCook) more than anything, but is that really the truth? He’s going against Eric’s wishes at every turn and doesn’t seem to respect a single thing Eric chose for himself. But, with Eric still unconscious Ridge thinks it’s his business to protect the rest of the family.
Eric may want Quinn (Rena Sofer) in his life, but that doesn’t mean the rest of them have to accept her. Ridge only wants what’s best and having her as part of the equation is out of the question. While Eric is down for the count, it’s up to him to step up and make the hard choices.

Caroline Comes Home!
However, things may change when Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) finally arrives back in town. She can’t believe the mess the Forresters have created. Caroline knows how Ridge can be and she also knows when he’s taking his power a step too far. She’s loved him for a long time–even when everyone was warning them against being together.
Can Caroline Bring Ridge to His Sense?
Hopefully, Caroline will be able to talk some reason into Ridge before he gets in too far over his head. If Ridge keeps going the way he is, he risks losing everything when and if Eric wakes up and finds out what’s been going on.
