The Bold and the Beautiful recaps for April 5-9, 2021, features Bill going to extremes to protect his son, Zoe and Quinn reveling in Paris’ misfortune, and Thomas being called upon to identify a body.
The Bold and the Beautiful Highlight
Liam (Scott Clifton) was left in a near euphoric state following his kiss with Hope (Annika Noelle), though the mood darkened when talk of reconciliation devolved into a tirade leveled at Vinny (Joe Locicero).
After parting from his wife, Liam assumed the wheel of Bill’s (Don Diamont) car – a direct result of Bill imbibing a bit too much during a pow wow with Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang).
The father and son duo good-naturedly discussed the possibility of Liam being welcomed back into the family fold, but the drive was brought to a sudden and unpleasant halt when something stepped in front of the vehicle.
That something was actually a someone – and that someone was Vinny! Out of the four million occupants of the City of Angels, Liam managed to run over – and kill – the man who had switched the results of a paternity test run on Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) baby.
Pranks For The Memories
While Zoe (Kiara Barnes) and Quinn (Rena Sofer) delighted at the thought of Paris’ (Diamond White) complete humiliation in Zende’s (Delon de Metz) presence, their victim was indeed feeling the ill after-effects of being dosed with Eric’s (John McCook) concoction.
Paris’ rumbly tummy resulted in a quick end to her and Zende’s elaborate date, but her fear that the entire budding relationship was in jeopardy proved unfounded.
After witnessing his distraught son lose consciousness, Bill went to work covering up any and all evidence that would result in quick identification of the body. Liam eventually came to and realized the extent of his and his father’s actions.
When an argument concerning accountability and honesty broke out, Bill insisted that keeping quiet about the incident was the only way for Liam to avoid a jail sentence. There’s no way in hell, he argued, that the police would believe that Vinny’s death had been accidental.
Putting A Name To The Face
Vinny’s body was transported to the same hospital in which he had been an employee, though the coroner failed to recognize him.
Finn (Tanner Novlan) had little trouble putting a face to the name, but since he was neither a relative nor a friend, it fell upon Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) to identify his friend. The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
