The Bold and the Beautiful recap for February 1-5, 2021, features Steffy taking baby steps to prove her fetus’s paternity, Carter getting wise to his fiancée’s machinations, and Paris standing her ground.
The Bold and the Beautiful Recap Highlights
Though Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) “pregnant lady instincts” insisted that Finn (Tanner Novlan) was the father of her gestating babe, she still willingly submitted to the much talked about paternity test.
News of Steffy’s pregnancy began to spread, thanks to Hope (Annika Noelle). And also Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), who wasnot about to let her step-daughters one night stand with Liam (Scott Clifton) pass without condemnation. The two verbally jousted at the cliff house, and Steffy reminded Brooke that those in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.
Crazy Love
With her battle ship in danger of being sunk, Zoe (Kiara Barnes) frantically tried to plow ahead with her marriage to Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor)…all the while ignoring Zende’s (Delon de Metz) warning that Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) would indeed tell Carter about her actions.
And tell Ridge did. In a subsequent confrontation with his bride to be, Carter accused her of merely choosing to marry him because he was the closest thing to a Forrester that she could snag. Zoe denied the charge, insisted that her pursual of Zende was a momentary lapse in judgement, and begged for another chance.
But it was a chance that that Carter was unwilling to give. He ordered Zoe out of his life then and there, and just like that, Zoe was once again out in the cold.
One From The Heart
Liam continued to beg Hope for her forgiveness at every available opportunity, and she continued to stress that her next move would be predicated on the results of the paternity test.

However, she later admitted that even if Liam wasn’t identified as the baby’s father, she still wasn’t sure that she’d be able to forgive him and welcome him back into her life. The trust between them has been broken, again. And this time, she wasn’t sure that it could ever be gained back.
Liam, for his part, claimed that he understood his wife’s position. And he even promised to forgo future pleas for forgiveness. Instead, he was resigned to proving, by action alone, day after day, that he was a trustworthy and loyal partner.
Advocate General
Steffy finally admitted the details surrounding her current predicament to her father. Despite his obvious disappointment in the circumstances, Ridge praised his daughter for coming clean to everyone involved and being proactive in her quest for concrete answers. He also praised Finn for his continued commitment to Steffy.
Sister Act
Rather than accept responsibility for her own actions, Zoe laid all the blame for her failed engagement at Paris’s (Diamond White) feet. How dare she not have tried harder to prevent Ridge from catching her and Zende together! How could she still insist on working at Forrester when she knows it displeases Zoe?
Zoe attempted to bully Paris into resigning her position as head of the company’s charitable foundation – and she even took the liberty of drafting a resignation letter for Paris to sign.
But Paris was not about to cower to her big sister. She explained that she wasn’t going anywhere…and Zoe was just going to have to like it or lump it. And for extra dramatic effect, she tore the provided document in two! The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
