The Bold and the Beautiful recap for October 26-30, 2020, features another round of “we need to talk about Thomas,” plus the travails of Zende/Zoe/Carter, and the continued debasement of Quinn.

The Bold and the Beautiful Recap Highlights

When he wasn’t busy debating the merits of a scalped neckline vs. a curved one, Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) was haunted by the voices in his head. Well, not so much voices, but one voice in particular. The one emanating from within that life-size replica of Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) that was lounging around on his sofa.

Try as he did to ignore it, Thomas couldn’t help but be overwhelmed by the sweet nothings it whispered…and his resulting behavior really began to unnerve the likes of Finn (Tanner Novlan) and Hope – the real girl, not the plastic one.

Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) even took time out of her busy time cooing over Kelly to confront her brother. Was it true that he was backsliding into his old dangerous habits? He swore that he wasn’t. She cautiously took him at his word.

Then he adjourned back to his abode and dismantled his talking automaton piece by piece. Progress?

Missed Connections

Thanks to poor cell service, Zende (Delon de Metz) missed his opportunity to keep Zoe (Kiara Barnes) from consummating her relationship with Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor). And to top it all off, he had to listen to some of the gory details of the night before courtesy of Zoe.

What do you think? Post a comment!

She wondered – much too late – if sharing her personal life with a man she had met about two days earlier had been a step too far; but Zende assured her that it had been for the best. Now he knew where he stood. Where’s a Zoe mannequin when you need one?

BB Musings

There’s an old adage that warns that two’s company but three is a crowd. An overly-solicitous Flo (Katrina Bowden) is about to learn its veracity the hard way now that she’s welcomed a displaced Quinn (Rena Sofer) into her and Wyatt’s (Darin Brooks) home.

Speaking of Quinn, she may be persona non grata at the Forrester mansion, but it appears that Shauna’s (Denise Richards) crimes have been forgiven and forgotten. What exactly is Eric (John McCook) doing?

Brooke to Ridge: “Ever since the beginning somebody’s always tried to come between us. I mean, first, your mother. Stephanie fought against our relationship all the time. Then Taylor, your children, my children.” Hmmm…look how quickly Miss Logan forgot Caroline Spencer and Nick Marone – two of the biggest obstacles in her and Ridge’s love story.

“Tortured artist.” Has there ever been a more apt description for a character like Thomas? The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
