No, no, and no, but is this a good thing or a bad thing? We asked you to tell us if you’re sick of Thomas-centered stories on your favorite soap and you certainly let us know. Here’s what more than 3,000 of you think.
Terrible Tom: It’s Terrible
Yes, yes, yes say a whopping 93% of you. Why not just rename the soap The Thomas and The Thomas since everything is all about Thomas. From Zoe’s (Kiara Barnes) love life and Hope’s (Annika Noelle) fashion line to Liam’s (Scott Clifton) revenge obsession and the cause of angst between Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) that’s driving him into Shauna’s (Denise Richards) arms.
When Wyatt (Darin Brooks) and Sally (Courtney Hope) split last year, it was because of Thomas. And, of course, poor Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) has no storyline except to worry about her brother. If we ever saw Bill (Don Diamont) and Katie (Heather Tom) anymore, you’re sure that they would only talk about Thomas and the trouble he’s bringing to Brooke and Hope’s lives.

You know BB is only a half-hour soap but you want it to walk and chew gum at the same time, meaning focus on more than one story or character. Other half-hour — or even 15-minute soaps back in the olden days — used to do that, so we know it’s possible. You’re also done seeing him use and abuse his adorable son, Douglas (Henry Joseph Samiri).
We LOVE Thomas
Then, there’s the small 7% of The Bold and the Beautiful fans who just can’t get enough of the guy. Matthew Atkinson brings a real grit to the character that was rarely seen before. You’re mesmerized at just how sociopathic Thomas can be and want more — for entertainment purposes, of course.
Others think Thomas can be redeemed if someone gets him the mental help he needs. Since Ridge is delusional about his son and his mother is MIA, you’re just not sure that’s going to happen any time soon. But it doesn’t matter. You still want as much Thomas as you can get. At least BB is delivering. The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
