Soap fans love a good villain. And Thomas Forrester is a classic one! He’s been using his cunning ability to manipulate folks to get what he wants. But has this The Bold and the Beautiful baddie gone too far?
The Bold and the Beautiful Polling
Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) has been rather obvious in his schemes to get Hope (Annika Noelle) back into his life. Even Vinny (Joe LoCicero) can tell what he’s up to! Have you had enough of Thomas and his antics? Soap Hub posed this question to BB fans.
The majority of you, just over 93%, say yes, you’re over Thomas’ schemes. Make no mistake — Atkinson is doing a terrific job manipulating everyone around him in order to get Hope (Annika Noelle) into his life. But the guy has already tipped his hand. Why are people giving him another chance?
Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) wants to afford his son the benefit of the doubt so it’s understandable as Thomas is his child. But everyone else should have this guy’s number by now. Hope should see that Thomas is using Zoe (Kiara Barnes) as a pawn in his schemes.
The rest of you, just under 7%, say no, you’re not tired of Thomas’ manipulations. The best part is watching Thomas find a new ally in his plans. He’s now conspiring with Quinn (Rena Sofer) as they each have the same goal — Brooke’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) downfall!
What’s interesting is watching Thomas regroup and figure out his next step when he begins to suffer a setback. Recently, he seems to have had trouble getting Vinny to go along with schemes. We suspect Thomas won’t have any trouble finding another patsy to go along with his evil plans.
Even if people could forgive Thomas for his schemes, folks can’t forget that Thomas is indirectly (directly?) responsible for Emma’s (Nia Sioux) death. The Forrester intern ran her car off the road and to her death after Thomas aggressively pursued her.
Maybe we should learn that Emma somehow survived her auto accident. That way, as bad as Thomas is, he can’t be tied to a killing! The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
