- Zende’s current storyline has fans wondering if Melchior will reprise her role as Kristen.
Tracy Melchior Reflects on Zende’s Adoption
Zende (Delon de Metz) walked away from his family’s legacy to embark on a fresh start. The young man has been feeling underappreciated by his family at work and at home.
During an emotional confrontation with Eric (John McCook) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), Zende’s childhood in Africa was brought up. Zende lost his parents and his sibling to AIDS and grew up in an orphanage. But thanks to Kristen (Melchior) and Tony (Paulo Benedeti), he was given a new life.
For fans who weren’t familiar with Zende’s story, Melchior gave them a refresher course. On Instagram, the actress posted a video detailing Zende’s adoption.
“Ok, had to share some old clips from 2001. For my B&B fans thx for tagging me on all the buzz around my TV son ZENDE…great to see!” Melchior captioned the post.
The clips consisted of Kristen and Tony meeting Zende while on their honeymoon. After forming a bond with the young boy, the couple decided to adopt him and shared the news with an excited Zende.
Back then, it was a joyful time for Zende, who was getting a new family. However, years later, he finds himself in the midst of turmoil.
Will Kristen Return?
Zende leaving his family’s company for Logan is one of B&B’s hottest storylines. Fans are excited to finally see Zende in a frontburner story and are rooting for him to succeed.
However, some believe that Kristen should be involved in the latest family and fashion drama. It’s been nine years since Kristen’s last appearance, and Zende’s career change would be a perfect opportunity for her to return.
Fans would love to see Kristen return, and Melchior is ready if the opportunity arises. On her Instagram post, the actress asked her followers for their opinion on Kristen’s role in Zende’s story.
“Do you guys think my character Kristen would approve of his choices? Or would she be there stirring things up with the Logans?”
Perhaps we’ll get an answer to Kristen’s approval soon. But until then, fans and Melchior are enjoying the drama going down with Zende and the Forresters.
