Life is complicated for The Bold and the Beautiful’s Brooke Logan Forrester. After all, she just spent half a year dealing with the fallout of falling off the wagon on New Year’s Eve after Sheila Carter’s dirty misdeeds, and she and her family are still in danger. Luckily, life is much simpler for actress Katherine Kelly Lang, who’s currently celebrating a milestone event.

And that’s because she was born on July 25, 1961, in Hollywood, California, which means that this talented performer is turning 61 years old today! Lang made her acting debut in the film Skatetown, U.S.A., opposite Scott Baio, Maureen McCormick, and Patrick Swayze.
Subsequently, she appeared in guest spots on primetime programs such as The Power of Matthew Star, Masquerade, Riptide, Happy Days, The Fall Guy, and 1st and Ten. In 1987, Lang joined The Bold and the Beautiful’s inaugural cast, then the newest daytime soap opera on the CBS network.
Lang has remained with the series ever since. Brooke’s love affair with Forrester scion Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) has proven extremely popular with fans. Of course, the pair found itself embroiled in numerous triangles throughout the years with the one including Brooke, Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen), and Ridge remaining a staple of the soap’s storylines.
Her other acting credits include episodes of Neighbours, Isidingo, and The Young and the Restless (where she played both a character named Gretchen and Brooke Logan), roles in films such as Evilspeak, Desperate Lives, and The Night Stalker, as well as the made-for-TV movie Subliminal Seduction.
Lang has also appeared in a number of foreign reality-TV programs, including Ballando con le stelle (the Italian version of Dancing with the Stars), Have You Been Paying Attention (a quiz program), and I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!
