Viewers probably won’t see Logan Knight – Bridget’s son on The Bold and the Beautiful – until he’s aged to his teenage years. Off-screen, Bridget’s portrayer – Ashley Jones – shares images of her son Hayden, who is 4 years old.

Ashley Jones Loves Being A Mom

“‘They said enjoy the baby years- there’s nothing better and you’ll never get them back,” Jones recently noted on Instagram. “Then, they said the toddler years go by so fast- enjoy the moments of discovery with them because there’s nothing better and you’ll never get them back. At four, they said he’ll never be more precious and loving… take in every kiss and ‘I love you’ because there’s nothing better and you’ll never get them back.

“Well, they were right,” Jones continues, “but what they didn’t say is each stage actually gets better and better. My heart bursts hearing his sweet little voice pray to God, how he 100% believes if I kiss his boo-boo it gets better, and watching him ‘build’ a table for us (with Papa). Little man, grateful I get to watch you grow…Here’s to enjoying moments that turn into memories…#FindtheJoy.”

Jones made her soap opera debut in 1997 on The Young and the Restless as teen Megan Dennison, while in real life, she was completing her college education at Pepperdine University.

After that, she auditioned for the role of Billie Reed on Days of our Lives when the show was recasting the part in the mid-2000s. (Julie Pinson scored the gig.) Jones wasn’t done with the world of daytime drama, though: She next joined the cast of BB as Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Eric’s (John McCook) daughter, and has appeared on the show on and off ever since.

Jones has played out many storylines and romantic entanglements over the years. One of her most dramatic moments was when her wedding to Nick (Jack Wagner) was interrupted so that Stephanie (Susan Flannery) could confess to faking her heart attack. Bridget passionately pleaded with the Forrester matriarch to apologize to her mother for ruining her marriage to Ridge (Thorsten Kaye). You can pretty much guess what Steph’s response was! The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
