Recently, Darin Brooks was doing double duty with acting roles. In addition to playing Wyatt on The Bold and the Beautiful, he appeared on Apple TV’s Amber Brown. Now, the fate of the latter series has been announced. The news could mean Brooks will have more free time to commit to B&B when it comes time for Wyatt to take center stage once again.
Darin Brooks Bids a Fond Farewell
“Aww man, I’m so bummed and am REALLY gonna miss these crazy kids!!! 😢” Brooks posted after news broke about Amber Brown’s cancellation. “So… we didn’t get picked up today… But onward and upward!! This was such an Uber TALENTED and insanely FUNNY group of people!! Honestly, I had a blast working with you all!!

Remembering The Breakfast Club
Brooks went on to thank @marloubob [AKA Michelle Manning, director]. “Thank you for all of your inspiring stories and history!” the actor posted. “My god, thank you for producing Sixteen Candles and The Breakfast Club with Mr. Hughes!! 👀 (Yep, that’s right! Look her up!)

Some B&B pals wrote supportive messages on Brooks’s Instagram post. The one that touched him the most likely came from his wife, Kelly Kruger (ex-Mac, The Young and the Restless). “So beautifully written and so bummed we aren’t going to see more,” Kruger shared. “What a great show. Amazing talent. Proud of you babe! Onward ❤️❤️❤️.”
