These days, Ronn Moss, who played Ridge Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful for 25 years, is living abroad in Belgium. But he still knows his holidays specific to the United States as evidenced by a recent social media post.

All-American Ronn Moss

“Cherish and Appreciate your life, your family and friends,” Moss posted on Instagram. “These are the things that money can’t buy. Sending love back home to America this Memorial Day weekend. Don’t forget the men and women who died for our freedom and don’t let that be taken away. Sending love and light to you all for safety during these hard times. Spread love 💕 not fear, hope not despair, joy not sorrow.”

The actor, also known for his rock group Ronn Moss’ Player, was an original cast member of BB, taking on the role of the Forrester heir and playboy in 1987. Over the years, Moss was involved in two primary triangles — the first was with the late Caroline (Joanna Johnson) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang). The second, which ran for much longer, involved Brooke and Taylor (Hunter Tylo).

In addition to his work in daytime and with Player, he has appeared on the Italian version of Dancing With the Stars. He played himself in the Italian film Christmas in Love. Moss and wife, Devin Devasquez, appeared on the ABC series Celebrity Wife Swap. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
