On The Bold and the Beautiful star Darin Brooks’ birthday, his wife, Kelly Kruger, took the opportunity to thank him for being not only such a great mate but also a loving father.

“Happy Birthday to the best hubby, daddy, dog dad, gamer, chef and friend a girl could ask for,” Kruger posted on Instagram. “I’m so lucky to have u by my side on this journey babe! Watching u become a dad [to our daughter, Everleigh] was such a game-changer for me. I didn’t think it was possible for me to love you any more than I did. Thank u for loving me (even tho I can be a pain in the ass sometimes 😇) and for making me a mama.
“I’m so proud of everything u are and all you continue to do,” the actress who played The Young and the Restless’ Mac added. “You inspire me every single day. The couple met when Kruger guested on Brooks’ nighttime series Blue Mountain State as Julia King in 2010. Brooks played the series regular role of Alex Moran. In addition to playing the role of Mac, Kruger has recurred on The Bold and the Beautiful as Eva, Forrester International’s ace publicist.
