Outside of her son, Wyatt, little is known about the family of The Bold and the Beautiful’s Quinn Fuller Forrester. However, her portrayer, Rena Sofer, has shared personal details of her family life on social media. Now, she’s paying tribute to her late dad, Martin, on the ninth anniversary of his death.
Rena Sofer’s Amazing Tribute
“My daddy,” the Daytime Emmy-winning Sofer began on Instagram. “Rabbi Martin Sofer. Died 9 years ago today July 21, 2011. This man raised my brother and I single-handedly when my mother abandoned us before my second birthday. He died in my arms and in the arms of my two oldest daughters @msidney and @rosabelrosalind and in my brother’s arms and his husband @davidsofer53 and @scoty_a and in my husband’s arms @sbookstaver.
“We don’t care for our elderly the way we should in this country,” Sofer says, “but we were lucky to have him at home with us the last 13 years of his life until he took his final breath. He looked into all of our eyes before he did. I loved my father with all my heart and soul and I miss him every single day. #ripdaddy.”

“I take care of my mother who has stage 4 cancer as well as Alzheimer’s and not enough people are willing to do this for their family,” says @instapaul81, who shared her own story alongside Sofer’s post. “I took care of my grandfather who had Alzheimer’s as well, right after I graduated high school. My husband and I have had my mom with us for years and it’s a lot of work, but she’s my mom! My father abandoned us when I was a kid and she was always there being my mom and dad all in one, how could I not take care of her!”
“[W]hat you are doing is a Mitzvah,” Sofer replied to @instapaul81.
