We’re guessing that Thomas Forrester wouldn’t mind another shot at winning Hope’s heart on The Bold and the Beautiful. But, in a recent Instagram post, it’s clear that Hope is staying far, far away from Douglas’s dad!
Matthew Atkinson Finds The Humor
Matthew Atkinson (Thomas) shared a photo of himself and co-star Annika Noelle (Hope) working together in the set for Hope and Liam’s (Scott Clifton) home. “Looks like @annikanoelle and I both have some toxic mask-ulinity…..” Atkinson punned. “I’ll have the mask laugh….. One mask hurrah?”
Are these punny? Maybe. Maybe not. “Ump?” Atkinson asks for the call, but the umpire doesn’t answer so Atkinson himself offers the following: “Those feel like a strikeout…so here’s a quote: ‘Today will be great. As viewers recall, Thomas returned to Los Angeles last year with his son, Douglas (Henry Joseph Samiri), upon revealing that Douglas’s mother, Caroline (Linsey Godfrey), had died of a blood clot. Thomas quickly became obsessed with Hope, hoping to revive their relationship, marry her, and have her become a surrogate mother for Douglas. He manipulated his son to help win Hope’s heart.
After Hope erroneously believed that her daughter with Liam, Beth, had died after birth, the couple drifted apart. Liam began spending more time with Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and their daughter, Kelly. Thomas got Hope to the altar with Douglas by his side to help seal the deal.
Hope dumped Thomas upon finding out the truth about Beth and was unhappy to learn that Thomas had known Hope was alive and kept that news hidden.
