To paraphrase lawyer Star Jones, “legally speaking,” The Bold and the Beautiful just got a whole lot hunkier! Lawrence Saint-Victor, who has been recurring as attorney Carter Walton, is back on contract with the half-hour soap opera.
Lawrence Saint-Victor: Romance For Carter?
Soap Opera Digest broke the news that Saint-Victor, who’s been recurring for a while now, will be seeing more air time as is the tradition with contract players.
For a while now, Carter’s been servicing stories by either tending to legal matters or officiating at weddings. He’s shown romantic interest in Zoe (Kiara Barnes). Perhaps the show will move forward with a Carter/Zoe match (Zarter? Coe?) or take him in another romantic direction.
Lawrence Saint-Victor first came to the attention of daytime fans when he was cast as Remy Boudreau on Guiding Light in 2006. He remained with the beloved serial until its finale in 2009. In 2013, he made his The Bold and the Beautiful debut as Carter, the brother of Marcus (Texas Battle), who turned out to be the biological child of Donna (Jennifer Gareis) and Justin (Aaron D. Spears).
Carter played a pivotal role in Room 8, the web series within the soap’s stories. Caroline (Linsey Godfrey), who died last year (off-camera in a suspicious way), used her relationship with the web series producer to manipulate footage, hoping to make it appear Maya (Karla Mosley) and Carter were more intimate than they were so she could clear a path for herself to Rick (Jacob Young).
In addition to his own romantic stories, Carter served as an attorney for Forrester when it went after Sally (Courtney Hope) for stealing designs. He informed Rick and Maya that there’d been a clerical error in their agreement with Nicole (Reign Edwards), who acted as a surrogate, carrying their daughter Lizzie. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
