As longtime fans of The Bold and the Beautiful recall, Kayla Ewell played Caitlin Ramirez on the half-hour soap from 2004-05. Could the actress be making her way back to the show?
Kayla Ewell Body Double?
If this sounds random, it’s really not. The actress is wed in real-life to Tanner Novlan, who just joined the cast as Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan, Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) hot new doctor. Finn is helping Steffy recover from injuries she suffered after she was inadvertently struck by an auto that was driven by Bill (Don Diamont).
When Finn soon helps fill Steffy’s dance card, too, it looks like love scenes may soon follow. When Novlan was interviewed recently, he made mention of the fact that BB is now using spouses as body doubles.

“We haven’t shot any [intimate] scenes yet,” Novlan told Entertainment Tonight, “but it kind of works for me at home, because if I ever want to schmooze on my wife, I can just say, ‘Hey, honey, I need to rehearse with you — this is protocol!'”
Well, it looks like that’s exactly what’s happening, according to Ewell’s most recent Instagram post yesterday. “Hey BB, just hanging in my dressing room…reminding myself what year it is. 😜 #itsbeen15years #tannerskissingdouble” The actress even seems to be in a black motorcycle jacket in her pic, just like Steffy.
So, it looks like Ewell is doing just that and can certainly rehearse scripts with her husband at home now. Maybe she can even return as Caitlin and give Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) a run for his money. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
