The Bold and the Beautiful was the first soap to return to production after the coronavirus hit earlier this year, causing a production shutdown. Since it’s been back with new episodes, viewers have seen nearly every player on the show. But one has been put on ice — literally!
Henry Joseph Samiri Enjoys Summer
Onscreen, it’s been explained that Douglas (Henry Joseph Samiri) is in another room playing with Beth while the grownups in the scene talk. Off-screen, Samiri’s been on ice — and we don’t mean figuratively! According to a recent social media post, Samiri and his brother, William, have been playing hockey!
“Thankful I’m an ice hockey player on days when the heat is over 100 degrees🥵🏒 – with my bro @officialwilliamsamiri,” Samiri posted. “#itshotoutside #socalliving #summerdays #socalkids #kidathlete #icehockey #icekids #siblinglove #coolkids.”
It has indeed been quite hot in Los Angeles recently, with temperatures soaring to above 100 degrees over the recent Labor Day weekend. When it comes to heat, there was nothing hotter on BB last year than the mystery of where was baby Beth. Savvy soap fans knew something was wrong from the beginning when Hope (Annika Noelle) gave birth on the island of Catalina.
Dr. Reese Buckingham (Wayne Brady) stole the baby, told Hope her little one had died, and then, he sold the infant to Taylor (Hunter Tylo) so that she, in turn, could give the baby to her daughter, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), who wanted her daughter Kelly to have a sibling.
Douglas got wind of the truth and stepped up and shared the news that “Baby Beth is alive; Phoebe is Beth.” The truth came out, much to the chagrin of Douglas’s dad, Thomas (Matthew Atkinson), who is obsessed with Hope. Liam (Scott Clifton) and Hope have taken Douglas into their home, hoping to give him some much-needed stability. Stay tuned for when viewers will see Douglas next back on BB. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
