The Bold and the Beautiful star Don Diamont was included in BB’s recent wedding-themed week of classic reruns with Bill and Katie’s marriage ceremony being one of the episodes re-broadcast. Bill’s also wed Brooke, but neither of those are Diamont’s favorite weddings with a BB actress.
Don Diamont Looks Back
In honor of the show’s recent wedding week, Diamont posted a photo on Instagram of his real-life wedding to actress Cindy Ambuehl, who played Kim on BB in 1996.
“Hope you guys are enjoying the @boldandbeautifulcbs #ToHaveAndToBold week of wedding shows!” Diamont posted. “Flashing back to @cindyambuehl and my wedding day in Èze, France at the magnificent Chèvre d’or Hotel perched on a cliff above the Mediterranean.❤️❤️❤️.”
Veteran BB fans recall Ambuehl in her role as Kim, the girlfriend of a shady character who ran Unicorn Fashions and forced Clarke into creating some lousy designs hoping to put Spectra Fashions out of business.

The Meet Cute
Diamont and Ambuehl met when she auditioned for the role of Ashley on The Young and the Restless. The part went to Shari Shattuck who played the cosmetics heiress for a few years before she exited the role and then, Ash’s original portrayer, Eileen Davidson, returned to Genoa City. Ambuehl and Diamont became engaged and were wed in 2012. The actor wrote about his family at great length in his memoir My Seven Sons and How We Raised Each Other: (They Only Drive Me Crazy 30% of the Time), which was released in 2018.
Ambuehl is currently one of L.A.’s most successful realtors. She also has a lengthy acting resume having had recurring roles on Pacific Blue, Head Over Heels, Action, and JAG. Ambuehl had another stint on BB in 2016 as a realtor. She’s guest-starred on such programs as Ally McBeal, The Jamie Foxx Show, Seinfeld, Frasier, Renegade, Cybill, Wings, and Sisters.
Next month on June 12, Diamont and Ambuehl will celebrate eight years of wedded bliss. The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
