Rome Flynn, who won a Daytime Emmy for playing the role of Zende Forrester Dominguez on The Bold and the Beautiful, continues to be one of Hollywood’s most sought-after performers. The actor has been cast in a new streaming series.
A New Role for Rome Flynn
Deadline reports that Flynn (formerly Gabriel Maddox on How To Get Away With Murder) along with actors Isis King (When They See Us), Todd Grinnell (One Day At A Time), and Desmond Chiam (The Falcon & the Winter Soldier) are going to play series regulars in With Love.
The show follows the story of siblings Lily Diaz (Emeraude Tobia, Shadowhunters) and Jorge Diaz (Mark Indelicato, Ugly Betty), who are seeking love and purpose in life. The pair will encounter unrelated (or so it seems) residents during some of the most challenging times of the year — the holidays.
Flynn has been cast as Santiago Zayas, a well-educated man who likes to read books over watching television. He’s described as a man of few words but will have lots of heart to share with the right person.
During Flynn’s run on BB, Zende fell in love with Nicole Avant (Reign Edwards). The two married and Nicole agreed to act as a surrogate for her sister Maya (Karla Mosley) and Rick (Jacob Young). She gave birth to their daughter Lizzie and later had second thoughts about relinquishing custody. Zende encouraged his wife to stick to the original plan and let Maya and Rick be Lizzie’s parents.
Later, Zende and Nicole moved away from Los Angeles — something that doesn’t appear to be good for marriages on BB. Not only did Rick and Maya split after leaving town but so did Zende and Nicole. The character, now played by Delon de Metz, is back in Los Angeles. He’s revealed that he and Nicole split but hasn’t delved into exactly why.
Zende is now dating Paris (Diamond White) following a missed connection with her sister Zoe (Kiara Barnes). The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
