Pierson Fodé got to sink his teeth into some meaty material when he played Thomas on The Bold and the Beautiful, but he never got to play a dual role. Now, on a new project, he’s found his double but the two likely won’t be onscreen at the same time!
Pierson Fodé In New Flick
“Find you a stunt double that looks at you the way @mich.todorovic looks at me on @manfromtoronto,” Fodé posted, along with a photo of himself and stuntman Mich Todorovic in a faux fighting stance.
Fodé is currently shooting The Man From Toronto, a feature film starring Kaley Cuoco (The Big Bang Theory; The Flight Attendant), Woody Harrelson (Cheers), and Kevin Hart (Die Hart). The movie is written by Robbie Fox and Chris Bremner and is directed by Patrick Hughes.
The film’s setup is that the world’s deadliest assassin and New York’s biggest screw-up are mistaken for each other at an Airbnb rental.
Pierson Fodé’s friends and followers chimed in on the post with compliments and good-natured quips. “Don’t photoshop your thighs man,” wrote @dopepickwan. To which Fodé replied: “I’m gonna triple their size to look like Mich’s.”
“Genuinely surprised you need a Stunt double ngl [not gonna lie],” posted @jordan_moonen. Added @andrea.m.ross: “Holy twins – I know for a fact you have the coolest double 🔥.”
Fodé played the part of BB’s Thomas from 2015 to 2017. He reprised the role for a few episodes in early 2018. During his tenure as Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Taylor’s (Hunter Tylo) firstborn, Fodé’s Thomas romanced Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) and Sally (Courtney Hope), eventually breaking Sally’s heart — twice — before opting to remain in New York with Caroline and Douglas (Henry Joseph Samiri).
When the character returned in 2019, the role was taken over by Matthew Atkinson. The Man From Toronto has a scheduled release date of September 17, 2021. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for airtimes.
