The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal quite a few months coming up for the half-hour show. It may have taken a pause on resuming production, but the show has no plans to stay stagnant for long. The half-hour soap will resume production next week, and there are plans to move full steam ahead with dramatic stories!
The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers Update
According to the June 30, 2020, issue of Soap Opera Digest, BB will be bringing on a new man for Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). The actor has been cast, but BB hasn’t announced who he is yet or exactly whom he’ll be playing. But if Liam (Scott Clifton) has plans to reunite with the mother of his daughter, he’ll find that there’s a new rival for her affections!
This news is good for Hope (Annika Noelle), who has had to more or less share Liam with Steffy over the years. However, we probably haven’t seen the last of Thomas (Matthew Atkinson).
What Did Wyatt See?
The big cliffhanger in the last original episode was Dr. Escobar (Monica Ruiz) conking Flo (Katrina Bowden) over the head after she revealed she knew that Sally (Courtney Hope) was faking her illness to try to win Wyatt (Darin Brooks) back. Watch for the ramifications of that bold (pun intended) move to play out.
Working Around COVID-19
BB is also going to tackle an issue that is challenging not only in America but also around the world. Fans can expect to see romance, but the show is going to have to shoot love scenes carefully in accordance with social-distancing and workplace safety.
There will also be a story for the show’s leading lady characters, including Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), Quinn (Rena Sofer), and Shauna (Denise Richards).
BB will refer to the pandemic but won’t focus on it. The show’s feeling is that fans are tuning into BB for some romantic escape. As the pandemic has been so much in the news, BB will be a place where viewers can turn to so they can think about pure escapism. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS.
